French engineering companies innovate on a daily basis to drive innovation in all business sectors. Each year, the “Grand Prix National de l’Ingénierie” is awarded to the best engineering projects in the industrial and construction fields.
This national competition is organised by the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Ecological Transition and Solidarity, jointly with Syntec-Ingénierie and in partnership with “Le Moniteur”, a media group.

The society of Grand Paris tests an “anti-stopper solution

As part of the construction work for the future line 15 of the “Grand Paris Express” and its stations, the Société du Grand Paris and Egis group conducted an experiment to reduce road congestion around construction sites. The principle: pay drivers who choose to avoid congested routes. A kind of “positive toll” to encourage them to change their transport habits.
